In 2015 to 2018 Rays of Hope Community Foundation, Oyo carried out Education on gender-based violence among community members. This was sponsored by APIN and was carried out in Ibadan North, Lagelu, Oluyole, Ona-ara,Ibadan North East, Akinyele, Ibarapa LGA reaching 576 community members.
Another activity conducted was out of school Adolescent girls’ skill empowerment. This is being carried out every year since 2015 in Ibadan metropolis. So far, 450 adolescent girls have been empowered on various skills like soap making, shoe making, small chops etc.
In school Adolescent and youth competition and empowerment on factors affecting healthy lifestyle of adolescents. This is a project but the organization. It started in year 2016 and still on-going till date. So far, ROHCOF has been able to empower 820 in-school adolescents and youth
In 2017, IDK engaged ROHCOF to distribute Family planning consumables to Primary health Care Centers focusing on adolescent and youths. 350 adolescents were reached with the consumables. This was carried out in Lagelu, Oluyole, Afijo, Ogo- Oluwa LGA.
Also in 2017, ROHCOF worked with Society for family health 9ja girls project where they trained adolescent girls on carious skill acquisition in order to support family planning acceptance. Akinyele and Ibadan North were the implementing LGAs that benefited from the project. 260 girls were trained in both LGAs.
Support access for adolescent to Integrate Sexual Reproductive Health Services.2019. 3,634 adolescent girls were referred for quality SRH services like Medical Abortion, Contraception, STIs, HTS services. The activity was carried out in Ogbomosho North, Ogbomosho South, Oyo East, Akinyele, Ido, Oluyole, Atiba, Oyo West, Lagelu, Egbeda, Afijio.
In year 2022, UNFPA engaged ROHCOF on sensitization of community members on GBV and reporting of cases. This is still and ongoing activity
IPAS also partnered with ROHCOF to sensitise young women on the use of UCD. This is beingimplemented in Ogbomosho South, Ogbomosho North, Egbeda, Lagelu.
